In the psrt where you talk about "2 types of animal crossing players" i would say im both at once. I love designing and being creative and making my island the best it can be (ive only played NH). But at the same time i HATE the dialog in the game. I dont even read it anymore at all.. And having full control over villagers move in & out was a huge detriment to the series. Ive grown wayyyy to attached to my current villagers that i cant really meet anyone new.. But if they had come and gone on their own accord, i would appreciate the time they spent with me a lot more. Now they're just a cute creature on the island that i have put a headcannon personality and story upon.

As a Pokémon fan I agree every single game is trash but as the trash gets worse we keep wishing we had the old trash eventually tricking ourselves it’s treasure rinse and repeat

As someone who bought new horizons I was expecting to get to know my villagers as people I didn’t know much about the series when I got the game but I knew I wanted to make animal friends I was so disappointed when two villagers on my island had the exact same dialogue I didn’t reset when my starter villagers were Moose and Tammy because I wanted to get to know them I also hated how they excepted any gift you gave them without knowing their personality

As someone in the Pokémon fandom I’m laughing so hard about fans complaining about city folk being a remake then I remember other fandoms actually get quality games (I’m looking at you BDSP)

Ok guys i think the bunker will be some endgame content more like the true lab in true pacifist rather than playing a large part in the story as gaster was always more like an easter egg which will get expanded in deltarune because most of the gaster lore was in true pacifist so i see it making a lot more sense that the bunker will be some endgame activity maybe done with sans after befriending him by returning to him at the end of each chapter like in chapter 1 and 2 with susie and the older brother tagging along for the journey

Meta Knight, Mewtwo and Sephiroph are those "Can't Go Back" situations, even if just a bit. Meta Knight left an insane legacy in smash brawl, with people celebrating his appearence, and his brawl form possibly being the most BUSTED character in all of smash as a series. He became one of the most loved Kirby characters, and he reappeared in them back to back, almost being a requirement to have. Mewtwo was once a mystery, when people used to say that you had to stay for HOURS in one game, in the pokemon stadium stage, so that you could unlock the final and secret character. He got his own damn movie, and was one of the most prominent antagonists of Pokemon's season one. Worth mentioning, smash mewtwo is based off Anime mewtwo. THE legendary pokemon. As a wise man once said, Sephiroph is like the Darth Vader of gaming: memorable and purely intimidating design. perfectly turned voice for their respective roles. an iconic sword. instantly recognizable theme song. Instead of those, I would cut Bayonetta, Mii Brawler (Yes, the only Mii. He is not even a character.) and, sadly, Terry. However, if we didn't have the original 12 stays rule, Jigglypuff is not nearly as interesting and improtant to gaming as the 3 I would save.

I think Nintendo is trying to put these Mario story RPG games out because of the film release that happened not too long ago. Perhaps they think fans want more Mario stories because of the movie. Thoughts?

I recently purchased a white DSi LL, as well as a physical copy of Bowser's Inside Story with its case, manual and everything, that game introduced me into the series though I never got to play the other ones until around 2020 when we all got locked inside. I had a PS3 laying around so I decided to jailbreak it. And using retroarch I played Superstar Saga for the first time. I did end up getting a new 2DS XL later on. I'll be re-running the first three games before the this one comes out
